90 ls400
I just bought a 90 LS400 and it runs and drives like dream but when I hit the accelerator it bogs down but when I ease into it, there's no issues. I can use all the help I can get!
Thanks

could you do us a favor and download the codes using the procedure here and then post them in this thread?
also, you can do a tune up and often resolve these issues easily, if it were my car, here is what I would change out as a part of this tune up:
● spark plugs (Denso or NGK brand)
● plug wires (Denso or NGK brand) - don't skip the wires, they are likely 24 years old!
● distributor caps (Toyota, from online dealership such as Sewell Lexus using Club Lexus member discount)
● rotors (Toyota, from online dealership such as Sewell Lexus using Club Lexus member discount)
● engine coolant temperature sensor (Toyota p/n 89422-20010, from online dealership such as Sewell Lexus using Club Lexus member discount) - this step will often greatly improve fuel mileage!
● air filter (any major brand such as WIX, FRAM, Purolator, Denso, or Toyota)
● clean throttle body and butterfly valve with CRC throttle body cleaner (in a well ventilated area outside)
● carefully check all vacuum lines for splits or line not connected up or breakage
● carefully check intake hose and tube between AFM (MAF) and butterfly at opening main intake of throttle body for holes, open ports, or other air leaks

many of us have had the same issue. a good read on the thread below.
i have personally had the 'bogging' you are talking about. ive changed the fuel pump (for walbro high flow), fuel filter, FPR, coils, plugs, plug wires, and i use a coolant additive to keep the temps down
