Default LS400 90 water temp sensor problem

I ordered a new after market water temp sensor. when i got it removed from engine, the sensor is different. teh after market is smaller and can not be fitted into the hole.

I contacted seller, they claimed they have checked with 3 sources and the item they sent to me was exactly for my car model.

can anyone pls help to provide OEM specs e.g. diameter, length etc of the original one?

here is the pic of they sitting together. new one is after market. the signal wire plug fits in perfectly.

correct Toyota part number is 89422-20010

and by the way, that new one does not look like any year model of LS400 water temp sensor!

the seller is completely incorrect

I say DO NOT get this one! I ordered one for the price and turn out it did not even fit! Won't even clip on what so ever, it may with some modification to the plastic piece. So I went ahead and went OeM!
