1999 LS 400 steering column rattle
when i'm driving along, mainly at higher speeds there's this kind of squeaking, rattling sound that intermittently comes from the steering column area when going over rougher surfaces. the problem seems to be worse when it's colder out. does anyone know what might be the cause of this? i can post a link to a video that lets you hear the sound which would probably help diagnose the problem. everything feels fine (it's an LS 400) but the noise is quite annoying.
