The lights in my pioneer radio have been off for 2 years. Last night all the sudden all the lights come on....I love it but don't know why or how long it will last. Anyone have an Idea why?

On a more relevant note, I'm guessing you had a lose connection somewhere on the back of the radio that fixed itself. Did you change anything up with your electrical lately (i.e. new fuses)?

Could be headlight switch (would have other things flickering too) or it is the rubberized contacts on the display. it is ALL the lights on the radio, or just certain ones?

Im having the same problem. The digital display on my stock tuner is patchy. You can see bits and pieces of it now and then. Then boom, one day I turned on my radio and the complete display was working perfectly! Was so excited. Then later that day, turned it back on and back to the patches -_- Also since this is radio related. My tweeters in the front go on and off on a regular basis (nothing to do with the digital patchy display as far as I can tell) I am guessing just a loose connection that can be fixed by pulling it out. Anyone know what I should be looking at or for after I pull it out?

Sounds like the solder crack of R963 and R964 issue.
