Default occasional bucking and surging *5 CODES*

FIRST here are my check engine codes ive pulled

12 - RPM SIGNAL 1
21 - L MAIN OXY SENSOR
25 - AF RATIO LEAN
41 - TPS
47 - SUBTPS

not sure where to start from here now...
thing changed out since ive had the car are plugs/wires/fuel filter

DONT TELL ME ITS THE ECU CAPACITORS

i need things i can test/adjust/replace that could likely be the cause of these codes
as i am not really sure what most of these codes mean or what effects they have on the car

any input/links would be great as ive been working on this issue for a good month now
and everytime i go to pulling the trigger on getting a part the car runs perfect for a week
then will randomly surge on the highway or once i get off pulling into work/home.
the majority of my gauges/lights dont work anymore so maybe thatd be a good first fix
but i defiantly feel like it could be fuel pump related but havent seen any codes to suggest this.

we are assuming you have a 90-94 LS, do a search on the trunk hinge wiring harness.

YEAH sorry i have a 93
my trunk wiring looked a little janky as it was hanging down and some were split [brown ground wire?]
i did my best to reattach any wiring and ziptied it back into place
but so far i am still having this intermitten issue which is worse at times than others

OK, I won't - just hang in there with the bucking and surging for a while longer, then you will eventually come around, I am thinking

haha still have hope its something logical from a poorly maintained 93
but when i come to that point is this all i would need to get it repaired?
http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-11...FYZaMgodXyoAPw

the majority of the time i have this issue is when i let the car run out of gas from not having a correctly working speedo
then the next few small trips runs like crap and then pretty much goes away until next time i need to gas up
..could be a complete coincidence but just trying to think inside the box haha

running out of gas is very bad for the fuel pump, don't do that!

and most all capacitors on ebay are fakes, use the links off post #1 of my thread!

And, based on that eBay link, it appears someone has beaten Cowboy Send the seller a message and ask what EXACT capacitors they are using and relay the information to Cowboy for his proverbial seal of approval. If they do turn out to be legitimate then the capacitor search just got a whole lot easier.

Not really, you still don't know if the capacitors are counterfeit or not, the only way you know is to order them from factory authorized sources! - and there was never a difficult search, I have easy to click links in the main capacitor repair post.

The ECU is far too important, and this job is far too difficult to get done right, to try and cut corners and save 2 minutes in the ordering process, just to have problems once all of that expensive and difficult work is done.

on something as critical to your LS400 as it's $2300 ECU, which all of the driveability, transmission, and climate control depends on, the last thing in the world I would be worried about is a couple of extra minutes of convenience!

I would want the best capacitors made and to know they were genuine, especially since this job takes many hours to do right!
