Default 1995 lexus ls 400 making noise

Hi every body I am new member in the Lexus club and I need help , after replacing the timing belt I'm my Lexus it start making to much noise please help.

Why did you replace the belt? was it because the original one broke? If so, being a 95, it is an interference engine, and that sounds to me like something is screwed up in the valve train if you get my drift...

If the belt hadn't broken yet and you just did it for maintenance.... i gotta ask, was it that difficult to start before you did the work?

There was oil leak underneath the timing belt so they had to change the seal , so I told them to change the timing belt as will. The old timing belt was not broken. And the car was running perfect even with the oil leak before the work.

I hope it is just a case of a couple of the plug wires on wrong, and not a case of their timing belt installation being wrong, because the latter case will necessitate them buying you a new engine.

They returned the car to you sounding like that?

It's still in the shop and yes hopefully it's just couple of the plug wires .... Other wise it will take longer time to be fix.
