I tried searching, but couldn't find anything about this. I ask because I've noticed better gas mileage while driving under snow mode for a couple miles... Turned it on because it started to rain heavily, and with these SoCal freeways, I don't like to take chance with the water just pooling right on top of the road. Anyways, I wanted to know if this was potentially bad for the tranny/motor/ecu/differential if I drove under this mode for a prolonged amount of time.
All it does is dampen throttle response and start the car in 2nd gear instead of 1st.
Good to know. I figured while on the freeway, throttle response would lessen and in turn save me a few mpg, but that's just speculation. At least I know I can try it without breaking anything
