Just thought I'd share since I know some of you are looking to buy a set of coilovers. Godspeed came out with coilovers for the 95-00 models. Don't think anybody is currently on them as they just came out. Inputs? Thoughts? I've always heard good things about Godspeed. Price seems reasonable (it's cheaper if you buy through eBay) and they have 12kg/10kg spring rates which is reasonable considering our cars are heavy.

looks just like any other chinese made coilover, such as BC, megan, D2, and function forum. should perform the same unless there are changes in the shock length, valving, etc. all very hard to tell when it comes to these manufacturers.

they AT LEAST come with stiffer springs than 8/6k so thats a big plus!
i had godspeeds on my s13 and rode pretty good! but my bc's are much smoother even with 18/16k

what coilovers are you getting that are 8/6?

only coils i've heard of that soft are the Tein CS.

I've seen mixed things from godspeed, though quality does seem to be improving as of late.

most after market springs are less than 10k on most coils under 1k arent they?
i think the godspeeds on my 240 were like 10/8 or something

Not true. Function you can get 14/10K spring on their coils. BUT I not sure if this is true but you can see if they can get 14K spring all around..

function form and BC can get custom spring rates, though i believe only BC revalves to match.

it depends COMPLETELY on the weight/balance of the car and what they were trying to acheive. The megan LPs are 12/10kg/mm front and rear, which is a solid daily/mild performance upgrade. Those going for super flush/low status will go as high as 26/20kg/mm when rolling static (aka Tanabe Super Low Down) to limit suspension travel.

The Tein CST (almost stock ride) are at the opposite end of the spectrum at like 6/4kg/mm.
