Degraded Air Shock Cushions Causing Noise

3 years later, what happened with this PlotPoint? I have the noise that you mentioned. Replaced the lower strut bushings and its still there. The clunk went away, but the rattle is still there.

2 1990's the suspension noise in them is and was upper control arm pivots, and can actually grab them with your hand when jacked up and tires off and wiggle them.
Ball joints also can be suspect, the diagonal caster adjustment strut bushings are in good shape on the cars.
If lower strut bushings your talking about are the ones on the shock struts they are very highly loaded. And no matter who says what if those were a tough poly it should not affect any ride quality, personally I think they should be steel with bronze bushings. Also noise can come from stabilizer links being loose.
