Question 1991 LS400 problems

Helo everyone, I am new to the site and I am hoping that someone can help me with a very frustrating problem. I have read many other threads with my exact same probem but I could never find a solution. I have owned the car for 6 months and it has always stalled when the fuel level was below a quarter tank. Recently it is getting worse and it seems to stall wenever it is hot out. I drove it to work early this morning with no problems. On my way home in 90 degree weather it stalled very badly. There is aot of pressure in the tank, when I loosen the gas cap it lets out a big WOOSH!!. I know this is a common problem with this model so I'm hoping for a common soution.
Any help and or advise would be greatly appreciated... Thank you

Am I the only one that is a bit confused about the poll? You are asking a question about your car, but then you have a poll of which year is the best?

To start with, you are missing the best years on your poll. IMO.

Second, try and do some more research on this. And also list more info about your car, (like the year). And what have you tried if anything to correct the problem your having. You said you read many threads with the same problem, but what have you tried to fix so far? Have you had a pro take a look?

the newest model is usually the best one, but "best" is subjective.

and about your fuel problem, ever consider replacing your fuel pump?

could also be capacitors.

No. You don't.

You might have an early 1990 model that was built in 1989, but there was never a 1989 model of LS400.
