Where is the parking wire on the 95-97 LS400? I'm currently trying to install double-din head unit and cannot find the parking wire from the car's wire harness.

I don't know but depending on what stereo you are putting in you can mod the stereo harness. For my pioneer i found the mod on line so i can run the gps controls and play dvds full time. The parking brake just keeps you from doing that while driving. Requires you to stop put on parking brake before you can use gps,etc.

I'm installing a Pioneer AVH-X3500BHS. I ordered the bypass wires from Amazon so I will need to wire that in with the parking wire on the factory harness (I think).

i agree with johnny, i would just run the mod so you can change the gps controls and play videos whether the car is moving or not. this may be as simple as grounding that "parking wire" signal to trick the headunit to thinking the car is in park all the time.
