Default Your thoughts please.............

Looking to do a brake job on my '99 LS400.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Front-Rear-Kit-POWERSPORT-DRILLED-SLOTTED-Brake-Rotors-CERAMIC-Pads-BL13292-/271039208921?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A1999%7CModel%3ALS400&hash=item3f1b321dd9&vxp=mtr#ht_3767wt_1143

Anybody tried them? good or bad experience? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I realize I dont need drilled and slotted rotors but these prices seem to be reasonable. Just not certain on the quality.

typical ebay garbage.

Go to rockauto.com, look for one of their PowerStop complete kits. I just got one for an RX330 and I'm impressed with the quality not to mention price point.

It's like 300$ for the rockauto kit, take my word for it and get that one vs. the ebay crap. Those pads will squeal like a pig - just horrible quality. It's total junk and below sub-par quality control.

I learned my lesson once before with ceramic pads that ended up being junk and over-hyped as the ones listed, and had to the pads again...

You can also check tirerack.com. I've bought brake kits from tirerack. They have a good selection and they also have owners review on the product. Ebay brake kits are usually low quality and people ususally get problems from ebay brake kits.

Nothing wrong with rockauto. I've also bought items from rockauto.

r1concepts is my fave but anyone using a quality rotor manufacturer will be better. (R1C uses Centric base rotors)

Centric is a very well known brake component manufacturer and makes oem levell goods. They also own StopTech.

The advantage is that R1Concept uses Centric rotors that they then drill/slot/etc... instead of off-brand or generic rotors.
