lets get something straight:

"standard" rca: simply a spacer that spaces out the LBJ from the spindle, raising the roll center and not effecting or reducing negative camber.

Negative Camber adapter/Negative Camber-RCA: spaces the LBJ from the spindle laterally to induce extra negative camber while also raising the spindle in relation to the LBJ/LCA. Used to dramatically increase negative camber (though in theory could be used for the opposite).

As far as I know studio still doesn't make "normal" RCAs, just camber adapters (NRCA). Youzealand is the originator of RCAs for the UCFxx chassis, and make several kits including standard and negative camber rcas. Figs Engineering sells standard RCA kits including a single and double stack (17 or 34mm).

Hey em, i removed my rcas after i installed them and read about the, in realy only one problem, with the broken bolt.
Now i dont know what i have to do... What is in realy the torque...? 80...95 or 120???

I need also shorter bolts. This one what was with the rcas is to long like Timmys...

Im from germany and i become my rcas not directly from studio. So i need please the email adress or the website from studio to contct them directly. So i can order hopefully shorter bolts. Or Timmy can you tell me from where you get yours please?

deni, no problem man. i would love to help. email Kyle at Kyle@bold-move.com to talk to him about studio parts. he may help you with getting the necessary bolts. you can also just trim or cut the ones you already have.

i torqued mine to 95fl-lbs. it has been fine for over 300 miles on highway driving so far. 120 fl-lbs is way too much for those bolts.

best place to get hardware outside of the store is online. i am not sure if germany has places online to buy hardware but here is what you need.
12x40mm 1.25 pitch socket cap screw 12.9 grade.

Short question, have all bolts the same size or is there a different?
I cant see any different on mine.

what thickness are your RCAs?

the second image shows the full thickness which as far best as I can tell reads at ~37mm.

at that thickness for a 2nd gen, I would think a 75mm threaded length, with ~3-5mm worth of washers would be about right. I have the pitch/diameter/hardness posted on the first page.

Thanks for the informations.
I think the length of 75mm is to much. Its longer then this one who was with the RCAs what was 50mm.

So i think the best is to buy bolts with 12x45mm 1.25 pitch 12.9 grade allen head and 5mm washers. What do you think?

oops my mistake, didn't realize that you had the offset RCAs, not standard.

In that case yes, 40-45mm mm bolts are what you want. I would buy 45s, as washers can compensate the last couple mills if you need them. Just make sure they thread in and don't leave a space.

i had a hard time finding 45mm bolts though it shows they are out there. i felt that 40mm is enough to secure it all properly.

remember, the RCAs have a recess in them that allows the socket screw to sink into them leaving a flush finish.

Damn, i needed now over a week to find a dealer where i can buy the bolts.

Now i have 50 pieces of bolts

But nobody cant send me 5mm washers. I think i can mabe fixed without.

you need the washers otherwise the bolts will mar and seize on the aluminium.

Hey, just want to say that im done with my camber. You need 3 different length of bolts.
40, 45 and 50.

I give them at all 115NM (84ft-lb).
As you can see on the picture. The original ones have only 113NM (83ft-lb)!!!
160NM (120ft-lb) what given this guy with his broken bolts, was toooo much!
Also 128 NM (95ft-lb) is to much!
