Does anyone know where I can find the link that shows the step by step instructions on how to link the radio antenna to the phone antenna in the trunk behind the tool box? I remember seeing it on the Lexus Forum but I think the guy removed it bc he was getting bashed for not soldering the wires. I want to remove the metal rod eye soar that can't retract anymore because it's bent. Any other suggestions are appreciated.

I don't remember that thread being removed. Try searching only the LS400 forum for "antenna".

There are aftermarket radio antennas made to stick to the windshield. And your radio antenna can be replaced or repaired - there are probably still replacements and replacement masts on eBay.
