Default Tail light brake light dead

So here's the problem:

Lights off : I step on brake pedal = Light comes ON on outter top right brake lights (fender lights)
Lights on : I step on brake pedal = Light goes completely OFF both tail light and brake lights (if I let go, the tail light goes ON)
My right trunk brake light doesnt work but tail light stays on when I have the light switch on.

Here's what I have already done based on searching:
Replaced the bulbs
Checked the harness/socket
Solder the bulbs contact fillament to make sure it touches the socket contact
Replaced the socket

Unfortunately, nothing works.
Checked the relays in the engine bay but couldnt figure it out

Is there anything im missing here?

Yes, if your car is a 94 or older, you likely have broken wires in your driver's side trunk hinge (common issue) and the precise location is normally in the"curve" of the hinge - open that wire bundle carefully and inspect - restrip, retwist, then solder as necessary - use heat shrink for a professional repair, or have someone good at this type of repair do it.

also to add..theres a box on the left hand side of the trunk by ur amp, that's got something to do with ur rear lights as well,im not saying its the cause, but if all ur wires are in tact on the hinge..then u can check power in and out of that box

The problem I have is on the passenger side. Is there 1 on the passenger side or its connected together from the driver side?

Is this 1 close to the factory CD changer? I am not familiar where the amp is lol

So I am guessing doing both of these would require me to take the whole cover of the trunk out to access these?

Thanks again guys !

Don't over-think it - the problem is gonna be where I described, we have seen this 1000 times. Inside the curve of the driver's side trunk hinge.
