I recently bought a 98 ls400. I took it to emissions today and it didnt pass because of a o2 sensor bank 2 and the Mil on my car fail to turn on with the key on. When I purchased the car the owner told me I change the cluster once. I there some way it is only a fuse or would I have to buy a new cluster? Please help anyone please, and thank you

There has to be a code...otherwise, how would the tech know that it wouldn't pass... they check the same info...
Must be that the light is failing to turn on... in TX that should fail also... but not sure about your state.
I bet it's like a P0420 or p0430....forget which is for bank 2...
Autozone should be able to read the code for free... at least they do here in TX...
I but someone messed with the dash and either pulled out the bulb, or the feed to the MIL... so it wouldn't be on and they could sell it.... just an assumption on my part.
You may need to get both items fixed prior to passing inspection...

Only code they gave me was p0156 which was the o2 and it also says "Visual MIL light check failure" so with the Check light not being on it was a automatic fail. Im just seeing if there is a bulb I can replace, but thanks
