I gave it a shot and seems to sound nicer, however, the static in the background is louder. Does your adapater have some static when you put it in?

Yeah initially when I put the aux connector in it does, but it's just on insertion and no other time. Any luck finding a Scosche brand adapter? I found some online, but they were a lot more than 7 or 8 bucks so I didn't bother getting those.

Yea once I put mine it I start to hear some static noise even when unplugged. I won't say it full static more of a odd wine with a static sound. That's only when I have the volume around 50% on the radio.
