Default Sensor on Bottom of Intake Manifold

Can some one tell me what this sensor is called? I need a new connector for it.

most junkyards on ebay call them the idle air control valve (IACV)

the connector is one you can find on many other 90's Toyota models, and the connector was used on other components in other Toyota models besides just on the IACV - take the damaged connector with you to the pull-a-part junkyard and compare

if your IACV should fail (fairly common) you can rebuilt it with new bearings or else use my poor man's idle air control valve, in a pinch

alright thanks, I appreciate it. I'm pretty new to the 1UZFE, But I love it and plan on doing alot to my LS400. Does any one know where I can get a connector for the IACV online or in Texas? mine completely broke. I tried junkyards in my area but they all suck and dont even have LS400's

two good choices:

www.car-part.com

www.ebay.com

find someone selling an idle air control valve from years 90-97 (there are dozens of these out there)

then ask the seller if he has the "pigtail" for it

PS - if you had read my previous post more carefully, you would have noticed that I previously stated that the same connector is used on many parts of many Toyota vehicles, not just LS400's - and Toyotas in junkyards are in every town in America!

So I just got the pigtail from a 91 LS400 but the colors of the wires are a little different. Does any one have a wiring diagram for the IACV pigtail?

I have the wiring diagram around here somewhere, but not sure why you need it if you still have the old broken connector with it's wires attached - do you have an ohm-meter?

I will dig out the diagram

my girlfriend has reorganized my stuff and I am currently unable to locate my wiring diagrams, however the real Lexus factory wiring diagram is dirt cheap and a great thing you will be glad you have for years to come! - here is where to order it
