Putting a 2JZ in an LS400 is ridiculous. becuase the engine you have right now is a much better platform and can really be opened up if you wanted to do so. Google "1UZFE supercharger" and you will see what i mean.

Welcome aboard.

I know the 1uzfe can make power but parts are hard to fine, to you gave a idea I have a 87 conquest with a 2jzgte and ebay parts but for about $2k in parts putting down about 500whp,(when its done) were the 1uz no one that I can fine sells a full S/C kit, and even if they did its 25-3500 to get what 300-350whp, trust me I like the 1uz and may keep it, but the 2jz there is just so much more r/d. and this is the biggest engine ive ever had but the slowest and I don't car for slow. just me

Ah! To each and their own!

Well, your likely not going to find much info for engine swaps on here, other than later model 1UZFEs for older ones. Let us know down it goes

there are a couple 2jz threads he'll find once he starts searching. Mounting for an auto trans isn't that bad provided you buy the right sump configuration and can fab a trans mount.
