air suspension wanted
I have a 95 LS 400 with regular suspension and I not so happy with the ride. I want to have a smoother ride and I hear air suspension is very good for that. Is any one know if it possible to convert and how much it will cost
thanks

I have a/s! If you're thinking of adding a/s to your LS its going to cost you.
1 air strut brand new from dealer: $900
you also need an air compressor to fill the struts (price unknown), 4 new air sensors: $600 a piece, and the lines if not already installed. When you have a/s you don't need any springs.
By looking at the prices above do you still think you want to convert???
You'll be better off by just buying new suspension and change all your bushings, once you do that your LS will feel like brand new and will be a lot lighter on your wallet.

Its going to cost a lot of money to convert standard suspension to AS. You will need AS shocks ($800 - $1000 each NEW) Sensors, air pumps and many other things.
I have AS and nothing beats AS ride quality. The replacement of AS shock is very expensive. I will convert my AS to Standard Shock.

Thank you for let me know this, I change my mind about upgrade air ride suspension. I am now looking to sale my 95 Lexus and buy a newer year model with air suspension. It will be more cost effective this way.

I have Chrome wheel as well, 110K miles, silver color with tan leather interior, always been service by Park Place Lexus dealer(had all receipt). I also just replace 4 new struts, new michillen tires, new timing belt. Look brand new inside and out. No visible sign of wear and tear. Never been in snow or harsh weather, always park in garage.
