Default new tires, need opinions

Alright guys, i need help in making a decision.

My 95 LS has some summer tires that have about 5k left on em. I really like the responsive handling and quiet, smooth ride. They are Kumho Ecsta HM v-rated. Euro model tire. I expect to get 26k miles out of em.

I bought these tires on ebay in July 2010 for 325 shipped. Pretty good deal in my book.

So last year i bought some kumho solus xpert h-rated from sears for $330. Good deal for decent tires. They are in my garage, unmounted.

Since i bought those budget Solus Xpert tires I have replaced strut rod bushings, steering rack grommets and sway bar bushings(poly). I really enjoy the heavier, more direct steering, and minimal sway. Poly strut rod bushings kinda ruin the ride, but the direct steering is worth it.

So now that my ride is rejuvenated, I find myself longing for higher end tires.

I'm debating between:
Kumho Solus Xpert H-rated price already paid $330 50k miles warranty
General Altimax HP V-rated price after rebates $338 45k miles warranty(don't like sidwall)
Yokohama Avid Envigor H-rated price after rebates $398 60k miles warranty
Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum W-rated price after rebates $414 60k miles warranty
Michelin Pilot Sport a/s W-rated price after rebates $484 40k miles warranty(pretty sidewall!)
Michelin Primacy mxv4 H-rated price after rebates $492 60k miles warranty
V- rated primacys v-rated run 664 after rebates... way too much!!!! not even considering

OK so should i keep the cheapie Kumho Xperts or should i sell em and buy a set of the listed tires? if so which one?

I'm not flush with cash but tires are an investment. This set should last about 3-4 years. What should i do?

Am I thinking too much? yes.

I also vote Michelin Primacy MXV4 - there really is no tire for LS400 that even comes close to this one, just ask around!

why drive the nicest luxury sedan in the world, if you are just gonna cheap out on tires and ruin the whole experience?

PS - keep an eye on Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus - it is an up and comer, and may end up being as good of a tire and with a little better fuel mileage and a little cheaper

lol- I just went through this myself...ended up getting the Michy Pilot Sport A/S but the MXV4 was a very close second.
In the 15 miles I've driven on them, they're great!

^^^^ one or the other. My personal experience with them had been great. I love the MXV4, they're just amazing. The pilot sport that i have on my supra now is also great. But i think for our LS, the MXV4 is definitely better for passenger/ luxury ride.
