99LS ... Whats the best way to clean the gas tank?
Hey fellaz Whats the best way to clean the gas tank from all the rust and residue that gas leaves behind? I run it on 93 Octane ...

Why do you think there is residue in your tank? Is the fuel filter clogging?
if not I really doubt there is much or even any if you run 93 regularly.
If you really want to you can put some different gas in.
Boat or airplane fuel is ethanol free if you can find it.
Race fuel will help clear out any deposits.
or you can just add a good octane booster

If there is one around still, a radiator shop may be able to boil out your tank. But the fuel pump pickup filter and the fuel filter should keep most rust and dirt out.

My guess is that if you pulled the back seat and opened the hatch on the tank it would be as pristine and clean inside as the day the car rolled off the lot. I just changed the fuel filter on my 1996 LS400. The tank looked new inside. Unless you have had water issues in the tank, there is no problem in there.
