everything is "incompatible" with the LS400 since crutchfield is stupid

any standard double dins will work if you run a double din Faceplate, but you would need the beatsonic harness (not cheap at ALL) to retain the factory sub and speakers.

Crutchfield is local to me so I went into the store armed with knawledge gleened from Club Lexus!
I said I already know a DD will fit, I'll lose my sub, blah blah.

So it turns out I just had to do a little wiring into the factory harness.
( I also made one of these little relays to fool the DVD parking brake sensor....shhhhh)
