I've never heard of such a thing... Does your have any special options/color choices like the 40th anniversary Landcruiser did? You should post pictures, i would like to see it!

no idea how many were made, but it wasn't a small number by any means. it was a factory option that could be ordered by the dealer when you ordered your LS. Codes were SE, SF

I know its not rare lol, but its very uncommon and parked next to a Diamond White LS, its very easy to tell the difference. I'm trying to source out a center cap for a wheel which the dealer of course discontinued.

Here's the scoop you are looking for - straight from Lexus - inquired about the same thing 9 years ago when we picked up our 94 Anniversary Edition at 66k - we just clicked over 160k. Kudos to you for picking up such a clean one with 180k.

-Custom Color
-Special Wheels

-Lexus Memory System
-Floormats

Regarding the colors of the vehicle it was available in Opal White Pearl with Ivory or Gray interior or Midnight Indigo Pearl with Blue or Gray interior. I apologize the vehicle didn't come with a dash plaque. There were 1800 units produced and the same package was available at all of our dealerships. I apologize that we no longer have original brochures for late models available.

Hello,

Can you please share with us the background information on the 1994 LS400 Anniversary Edition? I have one but have been unable to locate any information on why it was an 'Anniversary', how many were made, what colors they came in (mine is Opal Pearl White), what options came with it - did it vary by dealer, was there a 'dash plaque' that came with any of them (Lexus of Louisville told us this but didn't have much info on them and recommended we contact you guys for the background and info), etc. All the details you have on file would be great!

I have seen alot of info on the 97 LS 400 Coach Edition and the Platinum Edition on the web and Lexus sites - but nothing on this 94 Anniversary Edition. Thanks for all your help to provide this.

I also would be interested in any sales brochures from that time that you may have on this 'special' LS 400 edition or for 1994 if no 'anniversary edition' materials or copies are available.

Thank you for sharing that, I've been trying to figure out more information on the Anniversary Edition but there's just about nothing online! So there were 1800 of the Anniversary Edition made or 1800 made + the option to order the package from the dealer? And I wonder why they didn't put number plates on our cars like the Anniversary Land Cruisers in 97.

I have the 94 Accessory Collection booklet that has many add on options for these cars (color matched front end bra, Lexus cellular phones, etc.. Did you know the gold emblems on our cars are burnished 24-karat gold? I would love to see Midnight Indigo Pearl.

Also my car has 230,000 miles owned by the previous owner for 14 years and she runs like new

There is a 1994 Anniversary model...it was the first and they had some shortfalls in regards to numbering them and identifying them with a plate because the Anniversary Edition was an option. There were only 1800 options allowed. I just purchased one from a 69yo Lady, her husband bought it for her 50th Birthday. He passed a few months ago and at 69 she said it more car than she needed....it only had 47,819 miles on it and is in showroom condition. Drives like a dream. It has all the Anniversary options as well as the Anniversary floor mats. I should be able to keep the miles down on her since I drive my 09 F-150 to work, or ride my Harley Ultra Classic. I also have a 2013 Nissan 370Z that I bring out to play on Sunday.

Ok, I'll be the first to ask. How much did you pay for that beauty? Was it something you were looking for or you just came across it and couldn't pass it up? Either way, congrats on the purchase. Wish I could be that lucky for just once in my life.

It was stroke of luck how I came across this beauty...I was at the Nissan dealership picking up my new 2013 370Z after they installed the spoiler and I saw the lady pull onto the lot. She had her daughter with her and I asked them what year it was. She said she needed a smaller car since her husband passed away a few months ago. I got on my iphone and checked the book on it and made her an offer, but she wanted to trade it to save on the sales tax...I told her the dealer won't be able to come close to my offer and her daughter agreed. They took my # and called me within the hour accepting my offer of 6k, she said the dealer offered her $4,800. I had her meet me at my credit union which was right down the street and told her they will issue her a Bill of sale and I took it off their hands, took them back to the dealership. It booked just under 8k.

I think the only thing I'm going to do is get the wheels Chromed, I'm not going to do that wheel swapping, tint the windows limo in the back and 35% in front, and ride box stock.

RA40...I like the look you have...I think I'm going to just get the stock 16's chromed...but my arm can be bent...what size wheels do you have on your 400...did you have to make any mods???
