My 99LS 400 has this ugly yellow for signals on the tail lights , I saw the same lexus as mine with clear ones .. now is there any good sources on this forum that sells red or white tail lights that replaces the yellow signals?

Assuming he is looking for OEM tail lights.

From reading about red or white sounds like he wants to rid the amber signal portion of the lens

Yep use some red vinyl to cover the amber part with a hair dryer and a new blade. I did mine 2 years agobon mine and still looks super clear and like it came all red from factory.

There is an LED setup from Japan. It sometimes pops up on Ebay and sells for around 650.00. Also Jin from Kyeoi-USA and I just did a red vynil cover on the orange. You cant even tell with out looking at it. I just recently took it off to be replaced as it was lifting. Let me see if I can find a picture of it

ebay is your best bet nowadays. they also have LED versions as well.

This was my LS400 the day I bought it (w/ orange tails 2 years ago)

And this is when I put red vinyl over them on a couple of weeks after I bought it

And today with that same red vinyl I put on 2 1/2 years ago:

If done right, it will last for a very very long time without dulling the clarity of the vinyl!

guys '98-00 tails are NOT interchangeable with even '95-97 cars, much less 1st gens...

OP: either pay up for some japanese/depo tails in red/clear/red (RCR) or vinyl your factory ones for cheap.

lol the corners aren't yellow, they're orange/amber. but anyways, you can slap some transparent red vinyl on there which is the best and cheapest option. or you can have them sprayed with red taillight spray. i prefer the vinyl method since you can easily remove it whenever you want vs. having to spray down some brake cleaner or liquids in order to take off the spray.

btw, there are different kinds of red transparent vinyl, some being darker than others (depends where you get them from) so you should be careful when shopping around for them cause i've seen some with dark red vinyl and it's very obvious and doesn't look right/match with the rest of the red on the tails but as you can tell, mine are fine.

BUT.. if you want to get LED tails for the 98-00, keep in mind that the 95-97 aren't interchangeable with the 98-00, 95-97 tails are shorter in length for the inners. the best price i've seen for the 98-00 LED tails is roughly $600, so good luck with that.

I got mine from ebay. No specific red one just a transparent red vinyl. Shouldnt cost more than 20 bucks for the roll.

i got mine for $5 bucks and I can do two sets of taillights . ebay is your friend.
