Hello everyone. I have the '97 LS 400. 101,000 mi. 2nd owner. Bought in 2005 from Bev Hills Lexus at 66k mi. Prev owner had $3,500 work done after warranty. 2005-2012 I did $4000 in upkeep. This Jan 2013 I dropped $3000 to bring car up to maintenance standards. Love the car. Always considered myself a race car fanatic (Nascar, World Rally, F1) until I got the Lexus. I liked the 2013 ES 350 loan car from the dealer (had it for 13 days) but much preferred my '97 LS 400. I'm not a rich guy, but I now question what kind of car I would buy given unlimited bank account? Sports car? Luxury car? Electric car? I think the Lexus may have imprinted me

Welcome to the club!
If I won the lottery, I doubt I'd buy any other luxury sedan -- I'm pretty darn content with my 98 LS400
I'd probably buy a 4wd suv though (but most likely a pre 2002 model) -- because I like the older body styles compared to the new ones and I'm cheap as well
