not too hard (just time consuming). the easy way would be to cut them open and then reseal them (but you might get condensation if not resealed properly). the more time consuming way (the way i did it) was to crack the orange capsule inside the lense with some pliers and take them out little by little through the small opening of where your bulb socket would go. this method will also add scratches to the reflective housing but it's not too noticeable unless you look closely. i might want to also add that you will leave a small piece of orange plastic of where the small screw bolts onto the housing (since you are unable to unscrew the orange capsule through that small hole unless of course you cut them open ). it took me about an hour for one side.

your car would look alot cleaner with clean sidemarkers though

don't cut open the turn signals, the housings aren't sealed like the headlights and the plastic back and lens are fused together, so any cut you make will be visible from the outside.

Excellent shots !!!

On the rolling shots, what was the shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, etc?

Handheld or tripod on the parking lot shots?

How much post processing was done and what was done to it? Lightroom?

I would like to hear from the pros. Thank you.

Also curious on the equipment -- camera and lens?

Thanks bro. For this session as it was unpaid I just had my 60d and my 5d mk3. My lenses were the 17-55 IS and the 70-200 f/2.8L IS MKII. But I also shoot with a 7d, a 5d mk II and some Nikons LOL. I literally have over 30k in camera equipment alone when you include my lighting, lenses and bodies all together.

For the guy asking about my settings they are listed in the exif of the image. But those settings wont help you out to be honest as your exposure settings are based on available light and the overall image.

Not much post was done on any of these images as it wasnt paid LOL. This was just a personal shoot for fun and for a car. Pretty much SOOC (straight out of camera) stuff where I just color correct, resize and add watermarks. All just basic lightroom editing. Each image took about 30 seconds to a minute to complete editing. No tripod was used for anything, nor was any strobe OCF lighting. All Natural Light. Like I said, this was a lazy relaxing day for me and my friends. Just wanted to update my LS. Once the rest of the parts come in and I decide who Ill let feature the car Ill shoot it all pro status with lighting.

Ok. So definitely do not try and oven bake the corner lights to try and get them to separate? So the only way to clear it is to break them out from the outside of the housing and shake out all the orang shards?

Thanks guys, I might do this on the weekend. Just hope I dont mess anything up as they are my only set of corner lights.

The only reason why i put the option of cutting them was because some members have done it before. I personally wouldnt suggest it because like puredrifter mentioned, you cant reseal them like you can with headlights. You have to break the capsule from the inside of the housing. Start it off by wedging the capsule side to side, it will eventually break off. Now you need pliers to keep cracking it into smaller pieces that can come out the hole.
