Default Radio question

Hi all,

When i bought my car, i got a 1997 radio with it, the previous owner was sure it whould fit so he bought it but never had placed it.

I allready thought that i whould need the security code and i was right.

In the UK there is an shop who can crack these radio's, will it work then in my 1995? Or is the 1997 radio total different inside? All the connectors fitted well, it only didn't have a separated AM antenna in it. The reason why i whould like to have this one in place, because the JDM radio has a total different FM band then in europe so i can't receive any stations over here.

Thanks in advance..

'95-97 radios are interchangeable ONLY as long as you swap pioneer for pioneer (labelled "Lexus Premium Sound" and nakamichi for nakamichi.
