I bought a used 1999 LS 400 and it came with only one key. The key has a three-button remote built in.

I'd like to get a duplicate key for my wife's key hain but it doesn't have to be a remote, simply a key to enter and start the car would suffice.

Questions:

- Is it possible to get a non-remote duplicate key?
- Is this something best done through a dealership?
- What would be a fair price?

I got duplicate remote keys and a non-remote "valet" key from these guys:

You'll have to provide proof of ownership documentation before they'll cut you replacements.

There should be key programming instructions on this Forum.

just do a search and you will find out several ways to get one....I got one for mine and programmed it with my master (PB) key...
