Fixed my gauge cluster. The tachometer needle wasn't lighting up the end and the speedometer was off by a good 10 MPH. The tachometer didn't work properly either.
Now, it's like new.

Nah man, I took my car over to Mikado Motor Works in Gilroy, who also accepts mail-in work. Sammy, the owner, removed the gauge and fixed it in a couple of hours.
I know the methods he used to fix the gauge cluster, as they are outlined in tutorials all over the place. He does a great job and only charges around $250 for a complete cluster rebuild with 12 Month warranty.

Got a right angle polisher for my birthday from my Dad so I thought I'd get right to the and give the celsior a quick glaze.
I detailed for 4 years before I moved into fabrication so the skills are there just haven't used them in a while haha. I need to pick up some more aggressive compounds and some better pads and I'm sure I could make there the 25yr old paint look brand new.
Did the hood roof and trunk lid today.
Here is the one pic I have of the hood after I finished it.

Well today was Productive... I changed my In-Cabin air filter along with my Air Filter.. Then I changed out my Coolant Temp Sensor...
Crazy, I am confident this was the original cabin filter. All 254k miles.. My cars A/C Volume is much better and takes less time to cool the car down now.....
Crazy how quick the car is now. I can now light em up from a dead stop and the trans kick down is definitely quick. Car pulls much harder...

Changed the oil and found that the oil appears to be coming from around the pan gasket more so on the filter side. Hard to determine exactly since it was pretty gunked up. Cleaned it off and will check it to see if I can find it. May be the O-ring on the dipstick but it shouldn't be leaking that much.

so I went to my local O'Reilly's and got their brand... Shouldn't matter. I would believe they are all the same except for OEM of course...

Just a oil change before my wife and son hit the road in it to Huntsville for some import car show. Traveled just under 3k miles on the oil change we did back in February. The dipstick was still pretty clean but dark coming out. Next on the list is front strut bushings, trans mount and brakes.

New paint job. Solid Mystic Gold Metallic (instead of the old two-tone).....now I just have to get rid of those awful mudguards...previous owner's...very ugly
The old paint. Great shape, but not perfect.
Newly painted solid tone. Two layers of clear.
Lovely
