Default Tire experts help!

I have a 93 ls
Looking to change tire size. Right now i have 265/40/18 but I want to go down to a 35 profile with a 97y rating so I can lower a bit more. I was just curious if it's to risky also keep in mind i have a sub in my trunk. I'm not stretching tires so I guess that's a plus at least. Any help will be appreciated

Changing the tires to 35 series will only give you 13mm or 1/2" reduction in the tire diameter, would it be worth it?

1/2'' is quite a lot in terms of wheel gap and height lol. Right now i'm tucking a tiny bit. I would like to do it I just want to make sure it's not to small of a sidewall for our big LS's lol
