the bolt pattern and offset are much more important than the wheel size. In other words, they are 5 bolt design wheels but what is the exact spacing of the bolts apart from each other. If they are not the same you will have to purchase, or have made, some adaptors. The off set is in reference to how far the wheel is off set from where it is bolted to the hub. If its too far off you may have some excessive rubbing on your inner or outer fender. Post some photos and someone may be able to tell you the exact type of wheel and you can then search for the specific spec's of them.

Porsche wheels are 5x130 lug spacing and those 987 wheels are probably 43mm offset. You will need an adapter to mount these up. What generation LS do you have? How is the ride height on your car or the intended ride height? As far as tires and fitment, I'll defer to others.

those look like the wheels off a 996 generation 911, so like a 2000-2006 porsche. isnt the 987 the newer boxter? regardless if you can get them cheap i would pick them up and sell them again. using adaptors to install wheels is really not the best way to go in my opinion.
