Are their any oem parts that can be used as upgrades for the LS400 ie ignitor, sensors, ecu. Not looking for anything major, just curious about freebie mods/upgrades.

Ouch.. I DO search mister! I didnt see the interchangeable parts section but Ill look again. But thanks for your input and appearance on this thread.

The steering tie rod appears interchangeable between GS and SC and the LS.

actually if you look carefully, only ONE inner tie rod is interchangeable, not both.

i confirmed with the parts catalog and only 45503‑59015 is interchangeable. the other side (pass. side in the US market) isnt.

Is the whole steering rack on a LS400 interchangeable with a similar year GS300(JZS147 1989-1994)?

Ive had a quick look at *******.com and the parts are largely identical! Except for a few small brackets on the passenger side. Will post up pics later on.

no, the parts are not identical. the part numbers are different, the way they are mounted is different, and their dimensions are significantly different.....
