Default UAS bag over on BC coils

I have a 2000 ls400, bc coils and UAS aerosport bags auto pilot v2. The rear works great airs up and down, however I cannot get the front to lift up. I've tried everything I can think of at this point. At most it'll lift 1/4 inch then stops.

since you have coils, why not raise the perch so the bag sits higher? also what kind of bag brackets are you running? length? when i ordered my UAS bags they specifically made the brackets for my BC coils, though i'm sure if i said megan coilovers they would be the same length as well.

also check to see if you have your preset bag pressure at the correct number. i know autopilot v2 has the ability to preset that, among other way cool features!

i have yet to install the EXACT same setup as you, minus the v2 which i am heavily considering. if you don't mind, where did you get it from?

Got a video up: http://youtu.be/3SPgWtx1FXw

I just have the aerosport plates, I'm not really sure if I'm doing something wrong. This is my first bag over install, I have done a GTI before but it had airlift struts/bags.

Car is stuck at a friends house and I really need to get this project done haha. Got the kit from Bagriders, great price but now I'm tempted to sell it : (

you need to reset the height of the lower bracket on the front coilovers.

I tried moving the bag up but when I did that I got 0" of lift. Not really sure what's going on. I'll take some photos of the set up tonight.

^ so re set the bag to correct position and spin down the mount making the strut longer assembly longer?

Is it just under too much tension?

yea basically, adjust the bottom mount until ur satisfied with the amount of lift u get with the bag fully inflated.

if u had ur coils set at the same height u were static then more than likely they were too short at full lift.

when talking to UAS he told me to set the lower spring perch/bag bracket 4 inches from the top of the shock body (not the shaft). this is b/c the bag fully deflates to 4 inches and you don't want the shaft to fully compress when airing out. that means you shouldn't exceed that 4 inches.

different car but check this out.

nah don't sell it, but if you do hit me up.
