I have 208,000 on my 91 LS, I just replaced my waterpump and timing belt too. I have also had the pwr steering pump and a/c compressor rebuilt recently. Have you had anything else major go out recently? I am just trying to get an idea of anything else to watch out for. Seems like I have seen some threads on the front suspension going out, but mine seems fine so far.

I can't say for certain until I have seen it for myself IN PERSON... but I have been told by several people including my Lexus service manager that 90-94 LS400 engines are NOT interference. If true, and you break the cam timing belt... the engine will not run but is not ruined. On 95 and up engines I am told (see above disclaimer) are interference engines. A failure on these would be catastrophic with the valves hitting pistons.
100,000 is a lot to expect of a rubber belt... 200,000
Well, let's just say that is a LONG way to drive!

I guess I should have qualified my statement with the fact that I have only had it for about six months and I am pretty sure the timing belt had been replaced before I bought it. And I waited until it went out to replace it, in fact my mechanic determined that the water pump seized, which destroyed the timing belt, I actually was able to drive the vehicle for about an eighth of a mile after the water pump/timing belt failure, to get it out of harm's way. No permanent damage to the valves or any other engine parts. Gotta love that Toyota engineering and quality control! My mechanic has been a Lexus mechanic for many years and he confirmed that the 1UZFE is non-interference up until around '95.
