Default Should I buy these rims?

I'm looking to get these snow tires off my '92. I saw an ad for these rims with tires. will they fit on my car without having to do anything to the suspension or fenders?

* Wheel Front: 18x8J 5H PCD114.3 OFF35
* Wheel Rear: 18x8J 5H PCD114.3 OFF35
* Tires are Bridgestone Pontenza's with 80 percent of thread all around.
* Front tires are 225 45 18 & Rear is 255 35 18

cheers

fenders shouldn't have a problem but don't think it'll clear breaks ( my old works where 8.5 +37 needed spacers)

you have a 2nd gen, 1st gen have tiny brakes.

op- yes, those will fit, but the fronts may need a mild roll depending on your ride height. stock height they will need nothiing.

but those tire sizes arent ideal.

I'll be keeping the height stock. When you say the tires aren't ideal, are you referring to the size?

Conservative-traditional fit:
245/40-18 is a slightly smaller diameter
245/45-18 is close enough to factory spec.

With the 245/40 size, there will be more tire to fender gap showing. 245/45 will have near same gap as it has at stock height.

Understood. But is PD saying the tires aren't ideal aesthetically or is there some other risk to the vehicle? I generally drive to work and back like an old man so there's no slalom style driving. I occasionally have to move a 5 piece drum set around town [hence the nick] which gives the car a very pronounced reverse rake. I'm thinking those 255s in the back may rub.

CaliBuilt, they're less than $1000

the 225s in the front arent load rated for your car, and arent what i call safe. also they're pretty far from the OD of your wheels so there may be ABS/Trac issues.

So my quest for tires continues, and i just realized that the garage that installed my snow tires put 215/60/15s on. now i know i'm new to all this but isn't the stock size tire on a 1992 LS400 215/65/15? is this something i should be calling them about?

Stock size (90 - 92) = 205/65 VR15,,,,,,(93-94)= 225/60/VR16

tires you have on are fine and will work with no problem.
