before you ask, yes, floating rotor.

the hub attaches to the rotor surface via bolts and metal springs. the point is that when the brakes are applied, any deviation of the brake pad to rotor surface gets eliminated. the result, less change of rotor warpage.

just more or less curious if anyone has researched or found a company that makes any for the 95-00 LS400 front brakes?

thanx

so you're asking for a fully floating 2pc rotor/hat setup for a stock 2LS caliper?

yeah nobody makes that.

For what application do you want them? the weight savings are considerable, but not worth the price, and the reduced stress during heat cycling, and prevention of piston knockback is relatively useless unless you are circuit racing most of the time (at which point a bbk is a good idea regardless...). Fully floating rotors are also ridiculously noisy on a street car.
