infant seat anchors
Hi, does the 98 LS400 have anchors for mounting a rear facing infant seat? I've seen DIY for front facing child booster seats but haven't seen anything about the rear facing seats that need the anchors between the seat cushion and the back cushion. TIA

If you are referring to the "LATCH" system which was introduced in 2002, no, of course, the 98 LS400 does not have it. If I remember correctly, the top tethers were added for the 2000 model year and can be easily added to earlier cars since the mounting holes are hidden below the rear window shelf.
