My rear passenger shock just started to leak yesterday. I have a 92 ls400 with about 236,xxx. I am considering installing Megan ez street coilovers but I wanted CL members opinion on this. Should I replace just the rear shock that is leaking with kyb struts or have coilovers installed for the long run. I have not done any modifications to the car and the coilovers would be the first. Any suggestions? If I install the coilovers would any other suspension parts need to be replaced? Like bushings , arms etc.??
Thanks in advance

if you want to lower it, and a slightly rougher ride, buy coilovers.

for stock replacement, just buy some KYBs and call it a day.

Thanks again for buzzin.
Ok I understand kyb will get as close to stock. Coilovers give it a stiff suspension with adjustable ride height .

yes.

if you want to drop the height just a bit you can always get some H&R springs which will lower it about an inch and a bit and retain the stock ride.

I have the coilovers and i feel that it rides a lot better than stock. The stock ride was too floaty. With the coilovers, it doesnt feel too stiff.
