Default Puzzled? 98 idle issue

Okie dokie, So last week I posted a issue I have been having with my idle (see link to original post below). Basically the idle gets real low around 200 to 300 RPM's in gear.I thought the issue was intermittent because it seemed from time to time. Wrong I was. So I notice the problem was only happening during the day when the sun was out. So it hit me that maybe having my lights off is causing this issue. Bam sure enough today I was at a stop the idle was real low and I flipped the head lights (it was on auto) and poof it was idling fine? So I am puzzled why this would be happening. Now the car does have XENON head lights that were installed in the car before I got it... However, the low idle problem started this fall. I need some thoughts on what would cause this issue?

So from what I read it seems like other people have had similair issues but mixed responses / suggestions on how to fix. Some common things are to replace the IACV, fuel filter, fuel pump.. I do not recall seeing the IACV in the 98? Again, would apprciate any advise as it will not only help me but others who will find the way to this thread.. If not I guess I will drive with my lights on all the time.

clean the throttle body and make sure the battery and alternator grounds are clean and tight.

Thanks for the Advice.. I will double check the ground on those wires. I did some research and discovered this was somewhat common on the 1st and 2nd generations. However, it appears that this problem was not as commen with the 98 to 00 generation. From what I have read I should concentrate on the IACV. If I clean that and replace some of the vac hoses I bet that would either correct the problem or at least make a impact. I hope to do it this weekend and give a update..
