Rear Seat belt buckle need little help
I have searched threads for replacing seat belt buckles & have not found any. I have a 98 LS & the right rear buckle has broke. I went to my Lexus Dealer in Savannah to order & have them install it. 1st I was told the buckle was no longer available in black. They only have it in tan/beige. So I start the internet search. At mylexus parts.com I was able to order a black one but the order just show part is on order. Still not sure if they will have one. 1st question if black is not available through them does anyone have an idea where to search next. 2nd I not been able to find any instrutions on how to install one. The dealer told me they would install it if I can find one for around $100 bucks!!!! Ouch but with the state laws I have to have it. I appreciate any help with this. It is the right rear... Thanks

Contact an auto salvage company. A number of them do business on eBay - you could send a parts request. I'm pretty sure a replacement would be easy to install after you remove the rear seat back and probably the cushion too - quite easy to remove but look for the nuts/bolts hidden behind the headrests.
Edit: I realized later that I said something stupid. The seat cushion HAS to be removed before the seat back can be removed. If the seat cushion has never been removed, it may seem difficult to get the front edge to pop up - it can take a significant amount of force. I had to use a slim pry bar the first time I removed the rear seat cushion. (If you do have to use a pry bar, take care to not damage the leather.)

Thanks Kansas I received my buckle from mylexus.com today. After some research on replacing I guess I will just pay Lexus to replace. I could do more damage to my car than the 100 bucks they want to do it. Chalk it up to the cost of being safe and move on. Not sure though why my Lexus dealer told me the buckle was NLA. The paper work that came with the buckle was from Lexus/Toyota parts and is an exact replacement.
