Maybe. I went with what they said because I figured they're the experts. Even if it took them four times to get me a long enough shaft.

This is incredible. I would die for a manual ls400... I wish I had the mechanical know how to do this... Sad story

Do you thing there is anyway you could mount a T56 6speed or other 6speed manual trans from say a mk4 supra to a 1uz?

with enough money and the right knowledge (and tools) you could mount an allison 17spd trans into it.


kits are made for both of those, but kit prices are far higher and transmission prices are far far higher.T56 will also (probably) require some tunnel modification as it is really really big.

I've done a few of the t56 adaptors so far and it's not a easy swap. I'll be working on the tremec adaptor sometime this year now that I have access to several of them.
