Default wrong temp reading

93 ls400
the reading for the engine temperature is fine but
the digital reading is wrong and i dont know if its messing with my ecu
it reads at 110+ on warm days (85) where is this sensor so i can fix

The ambient temp sensor is located behind the front bumper, I think passenger side. Usually when they go bad, or a short in the circuit, the gauge will read -22. You can check the circuit by=== http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/air/accodes.html
If it was ever unhooked you need to reset the gauge by pulling out the DOME fuse, under the hood, for 30 seconds.

ambient air temp sensor for the CC has absolutely nothing to do for the ECU....
