I know it came stock with 205/65/16.

When I got it this year, it came with 215/65/16s. The last owner must have changed them. They are noticeably larger than the 205's on my mom's 91.

What I'm saying is that it came originally with 15" rims, not 16".

Ya had me screaming in my head, "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH I know you're smarter then that" (It's the stress of being unemployed) But I don't think that little difference in size would make that big of a difference in mileage. You can check your odometer with the mile markers on the highway, I check mine every once in a while for the heck of it. Good luck on the job search, you're gonna need all the luck you can get, it's tough out there now. I think I need to go outside my profession to find something.

Speaking of fuel mileage...
How does one enter some LS400 mileage in the Garage?

I'm finally just having to accept the reality that my car will never see more than 12-13 in town. I try to cut back the driving. I almost got rid of it last week though. Was going to buy a 97 Monte Carlo off of a friend of my dad. It was only $500 and in fine shape, just needed a fuel pump, so figure another $200 and a few hours bathing in gasoline. Then sell my car for $3500-4000 and put extra cash in savings. However, I don't think the fuel mileage on the monte carlo would been a huge improvement, maybe 17-18 in town, 28-30 on the highway at most.

Wow, Yesterday I needed 17.3 gallons to fill up my '92 (it wasn't quite empty) after going 360 miles. That's 20.8 by my math.
