Hello all! l I'm new to the forum and was hoping one of you educated individuals might enlighten me as to which exterior door handles are compatible with my new (to me anyway) 96 LS 400. My driver's side one is cracked, and would like to replace it. It is white in color, but I would also consider chrome if i could find a whole set that was compatible. Thanks in advance for the time and consultation. I hope I can contribute in the future.

As far as the door handle goes though, 95-97 are the same, good luck!

I replaced the driver door handle on my silver '97 in May. It was also cracked. I ordered a new one from the dealer, cost $133. It came in the right color and was a complete handle in the surrounding bezel. The old key cylinder is re-used. Labor was .7 hr. as I recall. Considering the low production volume of these cars I doubt anyone supplies chrome handles. These handles are different for each door and are made from cast metal so they could be chromed.

I replaced mine for $10 from a salvage yard, and it was white, just like mine, and I put it in.
