91 LS400 powersteering pump pulley
So the owner that sold me this LS lost his power steering pump pulley when he tried rebuilding it. i dont even want to know how that happened.
So I've searched high and low for a power steering pump pulley from online to napa, autozone, advance auto, toyota and lexus. Toyota wont even help me and said that they can't sell me any parts for a Lexus which is complete bull... Lexus wants to charge me $250 for a new pulley and napa has those pulleys but we cant figure out the size or the groove number. Can someone help me with a part number or dimensions and groove of this pulley? If anyone has one for sale or a repair manual for sale I'd appreciate that too!

Lexus won't give you the part number? If you had a part number it might could help. I know my local Toyota dealer helps me out a lot. Try Toyotapartseast.com, ask them.

I would just get one from the junkyard. I picked up a PS pump with pulley for $25 from http://chuckandeddies.net/ a couple years ago.
Where are you located in Ct.? This place is in Southington and also New Haven. They always have a few LSs in the yard in Southington, I never been to the one in NH.

That hose connects to the reservoir. Do you have the reservoir or did the guy somehow lose that also? Make sure you put a new, correct size, O-ring in there.
That big bolt on top of the pump, I've never seen one like that. (With a bolt) It's usually a snap ring with an O-ring down in there as shown in step 6 and 7 of this; http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/steer...mprebuild.html But then again, maybe the guy just left the temp bolt in there when he rebuilt it??? Every pump I've seen usually leaks from that O-ring so maybe he did something crazy inside there, ya never know.
