Bodywise,,,,just about ALL parts(body) for the first gen UCF10/11(89-94) are interchangable. Will have to search as far as electronics (ecu, brakes, etc) as there were several changes made POST 93 year. The LS is probably the ONLY Lexus which has half generations. Some of the electrical components are interchangeable with slight modification. This should really help you with distinguishing difference between generations for the LS.

i was more talking about suspension, and chassis parts that are available for other toyotas and lexus's that will work with little to no modification. such as like how a mkiv tt supra strut tower brace. things such as that. im planning on doing a nearly full suspension build on my ucf10 over the winter.

The Ls was built on it's own unique platform when Lexus was introduced here in the states, back in 89. Because Lexus was a new car company, back then, and only had a 2 car lineup (LS400 and ES250), they made their flagship (LS) from the ground up. This car shares pretty much NOTHING with just about any other Toyota product(without modification). This is one of many reasons why, the 1LS is pretty much referred to as being the most highly over-engineered car in the world; and that's not all bad.

its just hard finding any nice grill without a symbol on it so this would be a nice work around if this could be modded to fit
