relax its not..i only want to know what weight oil you use and how many miles are on your car..if it matters that you use different weights for different seasons then u can post it for others but me being in california it doesnt matter to me..this doesnt need to be an arguementative thread or a debate oriented one,and i dont care what brand you use either...please just post what weight you use and the mileage...thank you

5W30 - 2000 LS400 now at 142,600 miles. Bought at 38,000; verified that only 5W30 was used by the first owner.
5W30 - 1990 LS400 bought new and sold at 183,500 miles. No other oil weight was ever used.

Oil, I'm supposed to add oil in this car? But it's...it's...it's a Lexus, I shouldn't have to add anything to it. (as I picture all those engine blocks in the junkyard with holes in the sides)

128K and I use 5W-30, always have, always will.

ran 0W-40 german Castrol for a stupid long interval (8-10k miles, school got in the way) and UOA showed that the oil held up great but the interval was affecting my wear levels.

so now i'm running a 5w-40 Shell Rotella T6 and coming up on my 5k mi interval, probably going to send it out for another UOA to make sure the new combo is working well.

Napa Gold (wix) filters preferred.
