when I got my '91, the p.o. had swapped the speakers. it had the stock nak system.

I upgraded my fronts to 6&1/2, and have the same for the rear. I havent installed the rears due to lack of motivation.

but all together, I have 4---4inch power bass extreme speakers.

says 2xl-402
50 watts rms 100watts max
nominal impedence 3 ohms

they have part# stickers 2xl-402 0460260

to be honest, they sound better than the one's I replaced them with. but I need a more power handling speaker for my set-up......which means I still have to install my other amp.

but, if you want to pay ONLY SHIPPING and import, if there is one.....you can have them.

im at phoenix, arizona 85053.

if you dont want them, the 2 I have out will go back into the storage room, and the other 2 will stay In my car till I decide to modify the rear boxes.

and again, these were running with a full nak system and sounded great....to me anyways.

pm me if you have any ?'s

I've got Boston Acoustics RC41LF's and tweets(component set) in my 94. Bostons sound incredible. They put the factory speakers to shame, but they are not cheap. These worked great on the factory nakamichi system. I now added a few amps and they are amazing.

I did stereo competitions years ago when I was just out of high school and I won't buy any speakers without hearing them in person. Now I have no problem finding a set I like at whatever store, getting the model number and finding them much cheaper online. But I HAVE to hear them first.

I bought a set of front speakers for my 1977 El Camino thru a Crutchfield catalog and the sounded so horribly bad.

Just got Emarknot's speakers today. I only had time to install one, in the front passenger door. It's good to have sound coming out both sides now. Discovered that the original speakers were the Nakamichi speakers. The new ones aren't as powerful as the Naks, but they do sound nice. The next one I put in will be the rear driver's side door, just so I have sound in all 4 speakers.

glad you have sound.

im sorry they arent as powerful as the nak's.

but I suppose $11 bucks is a fair price for 4 speakers.

I will send out your change tomarrow when I go to lunch.

but they may sound different after you install one of the others, remember, the ohms ratings are different than the nak's. I personally havent heard the nak speakers, but the one's I sent you, sounded great with a nak unit.....well, to me anyway.

They still sound great. Definitely a good purchase for the price. Very clear, huge improvement over what I had before. I'm very grateful to have them. The bass is definitely better than I was expecting from a non-comp 4" speaker. You've definitely made my day with these. Also, now my friends don't complain about no sound on their side when we cruise around.

Yeah, no need to worry at all. I've been driving around a bit and it's definitely nicer, with just the one speaker installed so far. As I get more time and motivation, I'll tackle the others. You've been great to work with. Definitely proof that there are great people out there on the interweb.
