Default 91 ls400

Hey people, I have a 91 ls400 that when i turn headlights on car wont shift out of 1st gear, can someone give me an idea of what the cause is for this problem.. thank you

any modifications done to the car? how long have you had this car? this seems very very strange....

the symptoms dont really fit what he said? maybe he didnt mention all the symptoms or all the symptoms didnt show in his case? still seems very strange, but from that post seems like strange things happen with this car?

The link that PD put up has fixed this problem for someone in the past IIRC. It is one place to start with any electrical problems.

puredrifter you the man or women, the link you sent me gave me my answer, it was the white wire in the trunk that was broken there for giving me a bad connection i fix the problem and the car is running fine now .. ..again thanx so much for everyone input you guys and girls saved me 1000.00 for finding an easy fix

LOL, man, or woman. I don't think there's a woman alive that has the knowledge of an LS as much as, the man, PureDrifter does. Many times I thought "you the man".

Can anyone tell me if there's a fuse that control the ride level on a 91 ls 400, after I put my subs in I noticed the rearend dropped a bit... let me kno, 1 Luv...

No, no "fuse". You can adjust it manually but I can't remember off hand how to do it. If you search a little you might find it. Actually I think it shows it in the owners manual if you still have that with your car.
